Course Description

An introduction to the doctrines of the Bible (Systematic Theology)”.  You will explore the Bible and the history of the Church in context.  Students will gain a better understanding and knowledge of God’s Word.

Course Objectives

Your will learn what the Bible teaches about:

  • God (Theology)
  • Jesus (Christology)
  • Holy Spirit (Pneumatology)
  • Humanity (Anthropology)
  • Salvation (Soteriology)
  • The Church, Grace vs Law? (Ecclesiology)
  • Angels (Angelology)
  • What does the Bible teach about Demons (Demonology)
  • The Second Coming (Eschatology)

When submitting academic work, you are expected to acknowledge all sources of information and cite the scholarship of any authors contributing to their work.

Course Methods

  • Handouts, lectures, class participation, class presentations, and practicum will be required.
  • At the end of the course, student will able to better explain their faith to others and apply biblical wisdom to personal and societal issues will conclude this course expectations.
  • Students will be asked to evaluate the lecture at the end of semester.

  • Weeks seven & Eight: Problems Passages

  • Weeks Ten & Eleven: Revision and pop quiz
  • Week Twelve: Students’ presentations (if applicable)
  • Week Thirteen: exam and term paper
