Dr. Gene Archer
Dr. Gene Archer attended the Jamaica Theological Seminary in Kingston, Jamaica. He also attended York University and Tyndale seminary in Canada. He did doctoral work; influenced by Fuller Theological Seminary and by Theological Exegesis from scholars in Scotland.
Dr. Archer is an eloquent teacher and preacher with a desire to see people empowered through a radical commitment to Christ. He presently pastors Pilgrim Church of the Firstborn in the city of Etobicoke, Ontario. Dr. Archer has been pastoring for 43 years. He and his wife Greta Archer have been married for 40 years and have 4 children (1 boy and 3 girls) and 2 grandchildren.
Dr. Archer is an Ex officio member of the executive board of the Church of the Firstborn Jamaica and overseas churches.
He is an international speaker at conferences, seminars, crusades, church anniversaries and church dedications and other church related events. Dr. Archer also trains church leaders, Sunday school teachers, Ushers/Greeters in leadership training workshops.
His hobbies are reading, running and researcher in cellular health. His passion is Biblical Trinitarian Theology with emphasis on Christology.
Most importantly Dr. Archer became a born-again Christian in July 1970. He has dedicated his life to serving the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through personal devotion, diligent study and teaching of His word.
