Dr. Selvin Sitcheron
Dr. Selvin Sitcheron has been in Christian Ministry for over 39 years. His favourite area of ministry is pastoral /teaching. He attended Jamaica Wesleyan Bible College, (now Caribbean Wesleyan College). He also studied at the Canada Christian College (B. Th. & MTS), completed ministerial requirement in the FLAME programme, under the auspices of Indiana Wesleyan University, Humber College (social, legal & ethical issues). Dr. Sitcheron is a certified Christian counsellor and a certified lifetime member of the ETA teaching arm. He has attended an array of seminars and workshops for personal and ministerial development.
To add to his credit, Dr. Sitcheron receives his doctorate degree in Christian Ministry with a major in Christian counselling from the Mount Olivet Bible Institute & Seminary
His involvement in Christian ministry gave him the opportunity to serve in the various areas of the church. He served the local church departments such as: Sunday school, youth, men’s and local church board and District Youth department, Western Jamaica as assistant director for over five years.
Over the years, Dr. Sitcheron has been involved in Christian education and ministerial development. He taught for five years at the then Canadian Institute of Christian Counselling, Lighthouse Fellowship Institute and College, and currently serves as Dean and Lecturer at Mount Olivet Bible Institute and Seminary, Toronto. Apart from pastoral work, education for development and effective service in the ministry are also his passion.
Dr. Sitcheron lives with his wife, Graceolyn for over 30 years, their two sons, Nathan Nicolas and Philip Prescotte.
